Sunday Services

9am – Quiet Communion Service
What to expect: A quiet service not suitable for children, lasting about 50mins, which includes communion. Those who are used to receiving communion are welcome to

10.30am – All Age Service (with Sunday Club)
What to expect: Appropriate for all ages, and welcoming to children – we don’t mind if they’re not used to church! Don’t worry if they make a noise! Sunday Club is normally twice per month (held in the church hall from 10.30am until about 11.15pm when we join the congregation for communion), and at the other times an inclusive service involves the children. The service finishes around 11.45am, after which we go over to the church hall and have a catch up with each other (and meet newcomers!) over some tea / coffee and biscuits

6.30pm – Monthly Informal Faith Discussion / worship service (last Sunday of the month)
What to expect: This is a more informal gathering, which includes free-style praise and worship and a faith discussion, led by members of the group. Appropriate for those who enjoy a more charismatic and less formal service.

Mid-week Service

Wednesday 9.30am
A lovely service (normally with communion) incorporating a short faith discussion. This service is normally attended by those who are working / have commitments at the weekends. Toddlers not at school are welcome.

Monthly Faith Discussion

Last Sunday of the month at 6.30pm
This is a more informal gathering, which includes free-style praise and worship and a faith discussion, led by members of the group. Appropriate for those who enjoy a more charismatic and less formal service. We occasionally join local churches for their evening worship service.

Play n Stay

This weekly group meets every Friday 1-3pm – even during holidays! The only time we don’t meet is if it falls on a Christmas day! This is a well-loved group with lots of space and toys for the youngsters.

And most importantly, this is time for YOU to have a break, have a cuppa and a good natter with old and new friends, with plenty of chocolate biscuits thrown in!

There is a £1 per family charge, which builds up to pay for new toys and occasional trips.

We regularly have grandparents, child minders, dads, mums and friends attend... it is friendly and laid back, and supervised by Rev Wendy Saunders.

Sunday Club

Sunday Club normally meet 2 / 3 times a month from 10.30am in the church hall. If your child is under 3 we ask for you to remain in the hall, otherwise please feel free to join the service while your children have fun with Andrea (a local teacher-in-training) or Crystal (a local mum who also helps to run the Play n Stay) both of whom have Enhanced CRB clearance.

The children play for a while, then do some colouring / activities on a provided sheet led by the Sunday Club leader, and sometimes learn a song to sing to the congregation later. The activities sheet normally follows the theme of the main service.

We join the main service at around 11.15am in time for communion, where the children are encouraged to join the adults at the communion rail for a blessing. The children either then sit at the front, or with their parents / carers for the remainder of the service and join in where they can.
